People tend to think about this a lot in December. January is considered a month of new beginnings, many making New Year resolutions, and 90% of people not sticking to them by the end of January.

Move to the village, Ukraine

This is our house made of straw and clay. It was built over 50 years ago.

Traditionally mud houses were typical homes in Ukraine. If someone did not have a home, their family or sometimes everyone in the village would get together and build one quickly.

Clay houses are warm in winter and cool in summer.

We don’t have running water and the toilet is outside, but the toilet view is majestic, outlooking garden, mist and chickens. Continue reading “Move to the village, Ukraine”

Move to the village

Almost a year ago, I flew on the air balloon for the first time. Then I came to Zavallya for four days to check out Atlantida cave, and the crystals of Atlantida charmed me with their beauty. But the main reason I stayed was because I unexpectedly fell in love with my best friend, the bestest man in the world.
